AmeriCorps: Sets of Aligned Performance Measures (examples)
Following are six examples of a set of aligned performance measures for AmeriCorps. The performance measures in these samples demonstrate a clear, logical link between the need, activity, outputs and outcomes. If you decide to build performance measures from a sample found here, be sure to review all of the information and modify as needed to reflect your members and their service. Project STAR can also help you develop performance measures that reflect the unique characteristics of your AmeriCorps program and meet the requirements for performance measurement.
Note: These samples have been placed in a format similar to the worksheet in the AmeriCorps Application. You may see other versions of the performance measurement worksheet, but the components are the same. Draft your measures with the worksheet format you find most helpful.

TIP: If you are having difficulty developing aligned performance measures, try brainstorming with a logic model. A logic model is not a required component of your AmeriCorps application, but it can help you develop performance measures that reflect the objectives and activities of your program.
