Performance Measurement Self-Assessments for Senior Corps Programs

Are you unsure if you're up to date on performance measurement? Project STAR has developed an online self-assessment tool that will help you and your staffs gauge your knowledge. Each of these short, fun self-assessments has 10 to 20 questions and should take about 15 minutes to complete. If you need more information, an answer key is provided that links you directly to resources that will help you master the material.

This assessment asks questions about the uses of the logic model, its components, and aligning outputs and outcomes.

Performance Measurement Enhancements: Targets, Indicators, and "How Measured"

This assessment quizzes you on important performance measurement terms, choosing appropriate indicators and instruments, and developing a target.

Data Collection: Sources, Methods, Instruments, and Procedures (Draft)
This assessment includes questions on data collection basics, such as: identifying the best data source, choosing appropriate methods and instruments, and improving data collection procedures.

Data Aggregation and Analysis (advanced) (Draft)

This challenging assessment uses examples to pose questions on how to combine data from different sites, decide when to omit data, choose an analysis plan and troubleshoot results.

Reporting Results (Draft)

This assessment quizzes you on what to include when reporting performance measurement results (e.g. pretest results, information about your method, the best way to respond to your anticipated target), and uses of the results.
